When analyzing data from the current trial and a published trial investigating CBD withdrawal,10 there was no correlation between systemic exposure to CBD and peak ALT elevations (Figure 5). Sixteen healthy adults participated in this open‐label DDI trial. Healthy male and female participants aged 18–60 years with a body mass index (BMI) between 18–32 kg/m2, and weighing ≥ 50.0 kg were eligible for this trial. The trial was performed at a specialist phase I unit (PRA Health Sciences' Early Development Services in The Netherlands) between April and July 2019.
